An interworking architecture for STELLA and UNIVERSE
Abstract
This paper describes an architecture for interworking between two dissimilar satellite based networking systems. The STELLA and UNIVERSE network systems use different channels on the OTS satellite which are only available for a few hours each day. The paper gives a brief description of the two systems, highlighting the similarities and differences of the two architectures. The problems of matching the two architectures are discussed, and a solution is presented.
