Digital radar moving target simulator
Abstract
This simulator can generate the I and Q quadrature digital ( 12 bits) and analog signal of simulated radar moving target. The generated signals include a moving target signal modulated simultaneously by an antenna beam pattern and doppler frequency, a Gaussian white noise signal with zero mean, as well as ground and weather clutters. Particularly, according to the maximum entropy principle, the simulator produces ground and weather clutters by an autoregressive filter, without using large capacity storage for clutter map. It makes the feature of clutter better and changes clutter spectrum more conveniently. The amplitude of the simulated signals can be adjusted independently and digitally. This simulator has the advantages of flexibility, simplicity, and general purpose.
