A four bit loaded line phase shifter

A high power S-band PIN diode phase shifter having all four bits as loaded lines has been designed, fabricated and tested. The phase shifter is made on Alsimag, 772 6 x 2 x 0.04 inch alumina substrate. The phase shifts of hybrid coupled phase shifters are compared with those of loaded lines. The feasibility of good performance using all loaded line phase shifter is proved. For the first time a single three-stub 180 deg bit loaded line phase shifter is reported.
