A multi-micro computer hardware for data reduction and data extraction in MTD radar
Abstract
Design principles of a radar-data reduction and data extraction system using commercially available 16-bit microcomputers are discussed. The system is programmed to perform real-time analysis of an MTD radar data. Data rate reduction of almost 80 percent is achieved. Parameter extraction gives an improvement of magnitude over that given by the radar in range and azimuth. Unambiguous radial velocity estimation is also performed.
