Unstable phenomena in a two-phase closed thermosyphon
Abstract
A two phase closed thermosyphon falls often into various unsteady state operations. It is a very important problem for the industrial applications. Practical examples of unstable phenomena which occurred in a two phase closed thermosyphon are described. The behaviors of working fluid in this device are observed. The causes of the occurrences of the unstable phenomena are discussed.
