Millimetre wave communication design considerations and equipment
Abstract
Three major types of millimeter-wave applications are examined: satellite and intersatellite communication, LPI (low probability of intercept) transmission, and high data rate transmission for digital distribution radios. Attention is given to specific requirements on MM-components including space qualification, frequency stability, low power consumption, and light weight.
