Scale prevention and removal by hydrodynamic fluid treatment

The removal and prevention of mineral scale formations by treating the associated fluid with magnetics was considered. The advantage of HFT fluid treatment (HFT) over traditional methods of scale control is discussed. The hydrodynamic units total lack of maintenance requirements or need for a power source is shown. The wastefulness of energy in systems which are mechanically descaled, the problem associated with the reliance on manual dosing, and the myth that water softening will always prevent the formation of scale are discussed.
