High speed anti-radiation missile (HARM) test and evaluation program
Abstract
The High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) System is a new modern weapon system which has recently completed the Development Test and Evaluation Phase. A rail launched tactical air-to-ground missile is employed. The missile has been designed to home on and destroy hostile radar emitters over a broad electromagnetic frequency spectrum. The missile can be fired from the Navy A-7E and the Air Force F-4G Wild Weasel aircraft, and it is currently being integrated on the F-18 and A-6E aircraft. A weapons systems description is provided, and aspects of testing and evaluation are considered.
