Low energy nuclear physics and accelerator development
Abstract
The nuclear physics experimental program is described in detail. Transfer reactions, charge exchange reactions, elastic and inelastic scattering, total neutron cross sections ((3)He, xn), reactions on heavy targets, (3)He-induced fission of nuclei 159 A 232, and the (28)Si(D, pn) reaction were studied. Energy level studies by gamma spectroscopy are described. The operations and facility development of the 52-inch variable energy AVF cyclotron are detailed. Publications are listed.
