The gas dynamics of intense mixture evaporation with a large difference between the masses of the evaporated particles
Abstract
The flow characteristics of an evaporating plane surface of a binary fluid, with the evaporated particles having largely different masses, are investigated for various saturated-vapor pressure ratios. Equations describing the motion of the mixture are obtained assuming that the parameters of the vapor mixture over the surface are essentially nonequilibrium. Solutions are presented in the form of integral curves.
