Analysis of the Frascati and Geneva gravitational wave antenna background exhibiting the one half sideral day period
Abstract
Two gratitational antennas were operated successively for 2503 hr. Fourier analysis of the data gives a prominent peak at T = 718.03 + or - 0.05 min in agreement with the sideral semiperiod within an experimental error of + or - 3 sec. Arguments against interpretation in terms of gravitational radiation are reviewed.
