Analysis of the solution of the problem of diffraction on an asymmetric impedance half-plane
Abstract
The various solutions proposed for the problem of diffraction of a two-dimensional wave on an asymmetric impedance half-plane are reviewed. The Wiener-Hopf technique and methods based on it, including the Hilbert modification for diffraction problems, are discussed. The theoretical problem of high-frequency backscattering from an absorbing infinite strip with arbitrary face impedance is examined.
