Feed system for the Metsaehovi cooled 75-95 GHz receiver
Abstract
A feed system for the cooled 75 - 95 GHz receiver which will be used on the Metsahovi telescope was designed. The system may be used for dual and single beam radio astronomy measurements. A polarimeter was designed to obtain the complete set of polarization parameters of an incoming wave. Antennas were tested and shown that the aperture efficiency of the telescope with this feed system is 16% at 95 GHz and 21% at 80 GHz.
