Digital video transmission with reduced frame repetition rate and movement-adapted frame-to-frame interpolation
Abstract
The principle of movement compensating interpolation between transmitter frames is discussed and a practical, real time procedure was written in assembler and FORTRAN IV for a PDP-11/23 with RT-11 operating system. Full flow diagrams and source codes are given together with input/output procedure which involves direct memory access.
