Mechanics of geomaterials: Rocks, concretes, soils. Preprints, William Prager Symposium
Abstract
The phenomena described by constitutive relations for rock and concrete is reviewed. Following this, various approaches to materials categorization are discussed with particular reference to time independent behavior. Some theories developed particularly for rock and concrete are then discussed from the view of path dependence and coupling of degradation and plastic deformation.
