Rules governing the distribution of a gas jet in a liquid. Communication 2
Abstract
A procedure for calculating the velocity of gas and liquid and the gas content of the liquid from the results of measurements of flow densities in two phase gas liquid jets is proposed. It is found by way of the procedure that the profiles of the calculated quantities obtain their maximum on the jet axis and that there is a region of very low liquid content near the nozzle for incomplete expanded jets.
