The simulation of a Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) diversity system
Abstract
A simulation of FSK with diversity, which shows that threshold decoding for the convolutional code with interleaving improves the communication quality of FSK with diversity over the Rayleigh fading channel is presented. The improvement is 6 dB at a bit error rate of 0.01 and 10 dB at 0.001 with diversity degree = 5. The modulating frequencies should be orthogonal of each other, the signals and noise in the branches independent.
