Type KODEK DC modems for use in CYFRONET terminal network
Abstract
A KODEK is a device which connects an asynchronous or synchronous terminal to a computer via a telephone line with twisted pairs. This device can be used in terminal networks, when the distance of the terminal from the computer does not exceed several kilometers and the frequency band transmitted over the telephone line is not limited to the 300 to 3400 Hz range. The KODEK is equipped with a standard V-24 interface.
