Measurement of two-phase flow velocity using a laser Doppler anemometer
Abstract
A laser Doppler anemometer (LDA) system was developed for the measurement of single- and two-phase flows. Measurements of both laboratory air/water and transient high temperature, high pressure steam/water flows were made. Results indicate that the LDA system is capable of making accurate velocity measurements under these types of conditions.
