A resistive mass-flow sensor using foil technology
Abstract
Plastic foil thermal flow sensors for air and fuel for use in motor vehicles are treated. The principles of sensor construction and of electronics circuitry and the technology of sensor fabrication are described. Experimental results of laboratory and actual tests are included. Results show that flow sensors operating according to the principle of hot-wire anemometers may be mass produced relatively cheaply and reliably by band processes using foil technology.
