Phase-lock control of microwave sources by frequency division
Abstract
A technique for microwave frequency division using mixers and injection locked oscillators was investigated. Experimental circuits give stable frequency division with a useful bandwidth and without any critical adjustment. A 7.2GHz source was successfully phase locked to a 450MHz reference using a frequency division by 16 circuit, with a reasonable tracking range.
