A theoretical model for the Speech Input Device SID3. Part 1: Filters
Abstract
The characteristics of three bandpass input filters implementing a speech input device used to reduce voice data to standard parameters are described. The bands are 350 to 700 Hz, 700 to 1400 Hz and 1400 to 2800 Hz. Static and dynamic models of the active filters are included. The static behavior of the filters corresponds closely to the model. The time response to simple test signals matches well the 10 msec sampling period.
