Problems of 0g simulation with the fast running clinostat
Abstract
The theoretical background of the 0 g simulation technique with the fast clinostat is presented together with the parameters and limitations on biological systems for selection. Interaction with the Earth magnetic field which might introduce effects in addition to those of microgravity are considered. In membranes considered as capacitance, polarization can change permeability by displacements of the conductive plates. Chemically activated membranes can be affected if transmitter molecules are of low molecular weight and can be separated from their proper sites.
