High frequency mixers
Abstract
Mixer technology particularly at very high frequencies, and the basic function of single, push-pull, and subharmonically pumped mixers are reviewed. The performance of a single-balanced mixer in the 35 GHz band is discussed. Mixing attenuation, noise factor, and the influence of noise temperature are dealt with. A noise measurement device is described.
