Calculation formula for experimental determination of temperaturedependent coefficient of thermal conductivity
Abstract
The problem of calculations for the experimental determination of temperaturedependent thermal conductivity is considered and the usefulness of the equivalentsource method is indicated. Formulas proposed for determining the coefficients of the quadratic polynomial by which the thermal conductivity is represented are derived on the assumption that the heat flux to the specimen is a set function of time. An example worked out for a plate is presented.
