Determination of the parameters of a system of radiators for the matrix description of an array antenna
Abstract
In matrix methods of array antenna analysis, an antenna is modeled by an equivalent multipole whose output terminals are coincident with radiator terminals or correspond to selected phase reference surfaces in the feed lines. A method is proposed here for determining the parameters of a multipole equivalent of a system of wire radiators with Joule losses. The approach involves solving a rigorously stated boundary-value problem using the method of integral equations.
