Mathematical models of pulsed noise
Abstract
Differential and integral models of pulsed noise are developed on the basis of linear pulsed random processes and linear generalized random processes based on random processes with independent increments. A model is obtained which describes the sum of pulsed and Gaussian noise. The problem of analyzing the response of a linear system to noise described by the differential or integral model is solved completely. Differential and integral models are proposed which describe atmospheric and industrial noise, as well as other types of pulsed noise.
