Noise immunity of the reception of discrete signals in transmission systems with a nonlinear group link
Abstract
The noise immunity of the reception of discrete signals is analyzed under the assumption that the group link is a device with complex nonlinearity and that the multichannel input signal is the sum of narrow-band quasi-determinate and Gaussian random signals. The proposed method for investigating the noise immunity makes it possible to assess the effect of the characteristics of the nonlinear transmission of signals and noise through the group link. Recommendations on the choice of the operating mode of the group link and the characteristics of the input signals can also be made on the basis of the proposed method.
