Features of the search for pseudorandom signals according to delay using acoustoelectronic convolvers
Abstract
The paper examines the feasibility of implementing step-by-step search for pseudorandom signals according to delay using a device based on an acoustoelectronic convolver and a coherent accumulator. The signal-processing algorithm includes segment-by-segment matched filtering of the received signal in the convolver and coherent accumulation of convolver output signals in the accumulator (which can be realized on the basis of CCD shift registers). An analysis of the sensitivity of the proposed search algorithm to deviations of the principal parameters from their optimal values shows that the search speed is most profoundly affected by the degree of the matching of the device with the received signal with respect to the I parameter (the number of accumulation cycles).
