Electrodynamic analysis of a reflector in the form of a system of parallel conductors /the E-wave case/
Abstract
The near field in the shadow region is investigated for a reflector in the form of a system of parallel conductors; the two-dimensional problem and the E-wave case are considered. The array of conductors is replaced by an equivalent surface with complex impedance, the surface current being determined from the solution of a Fredholm equation of the second kind. A method is proposed for the numerical solution of the integral equation for the complex surface impedance. Several versions of the reflector are examined for cases of excitation by a plane wave and by a system of current threads.
