Optimal reception of digital messages in a channel with variable parameters on a background of pulsed and fluctuation noise
Abstract
An algorithm for the optimal reception of binary signals in a channel with variable parameters on a background of fluctuation and pulsed noise is synthesized on the basis of the theory of conditional Markov processes and the theory of the nonlinear optimal filtering of discretecontinuous diffusion and nondiffusion Markov processes with a continuous set of states. Attention is given to the example of synthesis for opposite signals and pulsed noise in the form of a stream of radio pulses with an exponential envelope. An expression is obtained for the probability of error, and the efficiency of pulsednoise suppression is evaluated.
