Optimal properties of a system of single interperiod compensation
Abstract
It is shown that, given a known target velocity and an appropriate choice of the zero of the frequency characteristic, a system of single interperiod compensation is optimal for arbitrary noise correlation in the case of stationary interference reflections. Conditions are established under which a gain is achieved in noise immunity compared with the case when only the Doppler phase of the noise is estimated.
