Electromagnetic-wave diffraction by a reflection-type conducting grating
Abstract
A numerical algorithm is developed for analyzing the diffraction of a plane electromagnetic wave by a reflection grating of arbitrary profile with allowance for the finite conductivity of the material. In contrast to previous methods, the proposed approach combines simplicity with a rigorous formulation (on the basis of the method of functional equations). A sinusoidal array in the case of E-polarization in the self-collimation regime is considered as an example.
