Sequential convolver search for long-duration pseudorandom signals
Abstract
The present study examines the sequential search for pseudorandom signals by means of a receiver consisting of an acoustoelectronic (SAW) convolver and a recirculation-type delay line. The statistical characteristics of the search procedure are analyzed in the case of the reception of pseudorandom signals on a background of white Gaussian noise. Convolver and correlation searches are compared.
