Microwave filter with symmetric and asymmetric connection of two dielectric disk resonators in the transmission line
Abstract
The integral equation method of Vziatyshev and Kalinichev (1983), proposed for the study of high-Q open systems with a dielectric disk resonator, is extended to higher-level systems with two resonance elements. Free and forced oscillations are analyzed with allowance for the mutual interaction of the resonators and for their interaction with the transmission line. Approximate analytical expressions are obtained for the filter characteristics of these systems near the elimination bands.
