An electrodynamic analysis of the characteristics of waveguide slotted lines with allowance for the finite thickness of the conductors
Abstract
The characteristics of waveguide slotted lines with fins of finite thickness are analyzed using the method of partial regions with allowance for singularities at the metal fin. In particular, the effect of the finite thickness of the fins on the dispersion characteristics and wave resistances are determined for slotted lines of three types. The critical frequencies and losses in the metal and the dielectric are computed. The computation algorithm has been implemented in computer software.
