A study of quasi-optic resonators by the spatial spectrum method
Abstract
The structure of the electromagnetic fields of the degenerate vibrations of a two-mirror open resonator is analyzed using the spatial spectrum approach. It is found that the presence of the factors producing perturbations in the open resonator field lead to incomplete degeneration and, consequently, to a broadening of the mode resonance curve. The use of a system of coupled open resonators for controlling the dielectric parameters of radio-transparent materials is discussed.
