Transformation of modes in the case of double degeneration in a plane anisotropic impedance waveguide
Abstract
An analysis is presented of the propagation of electromagnetic waves in a plane slightly irregular waveguide one of the walls of which is characterized by anisotropic surface impedance. An approximate solution to this problem is obtained, and attention is given to the transformation of normal modes at the point of local double degeneration. It is shown that the transformation matrix in an anisotropic waveguide coincides with the analogous matrix in an isotropic waveguide.
