Diffraction of an electric-dipole field by an ideally conducting sphere loaded on a rectangular slot
Abstract
A numerical analysis is presented of a radiating system consisting of an electric-dipole source and an ideally conducting sphere loaded on a rectangular slot. Results are given in the form of radiation patterns and graphs characterizing the behavior of the active and reactive components of the load conductance on the slot, this conductance assuring maximum radiation power for the system.
