Synthesis and efficiency-analysis of systems of adaptive interperiod processing of signals on a background of noise with unknown correlation properties
Abstract
The synthesis method and design principles are considered for adaptive-processing systems realizing maximum efficiency of signal detection on a background of noise with unknown correlation properties for a minimum duration of the adaptation process. A method for the analysis of such systems is proposed which makes it possible to estimate their efficiency in relation to the volume of the learning sample and other parameters of the system. As an example, the efficiency of a combined-processing system with an adaptive rejection filter is analyzed.
