Relationship between algorithms of the adaptive optimization of antenna arrays with an algorithm of the optimal detection of multidimensional stochastic signals
Abstract
The transfer vector-function of a multidimensional filter which processes information from the outputs of antenna-array elements is synthesized. Results are presented for three processing-efficiency criteria of practical importance, and the relationship between these criteria and an algorithm for the optimal detection of multidimensional stochastic signals is established. Particular consideration is given to the problem of designing multiple-tap delay lines (nonrecursive discrete filters) on which the multidimensional filter is based.
