Optimal synthesis of stepped phase shifters of class II
Abstract
The paper considers the Chebyshev approximation of the phase-frequency characteristics of stepped phase shifters whose electrical circuit is based on a series connection of alternating strips of coupled and noncoupled lines of differing electrical length. Systems of optimal parameters satisfying a number of technical requirements are obtained. The optimality of solutions obtained is assessed, and parameters are compared. A classification of stepped phase shifters is given.
