Signal fluctuations in a dematron
Abstract
Fluctuation phenomena in a dematron are analyzed. Analytical relationships are obtained for fluctuations of the secondary-emission current, and the front and amplitude of HF pulses. It is shown that the avalanche multiplication of electrons on the secondary-emission cathode produces intense noise around the signal.
