Direct frequency synthesis on the basis of digital structures
Abstract
An algorithm is developed for digital direct frequency synthesis which is optimal according to the criterion of the minimal maximum current integral error of the time position of pulses. The method is characterized by the compensation of predicted error and assures the reduction of the method error due to the discreteness of the time scale. The possibility of using this procedure to compensate discretization error is demonstrated, and examples of the realization of the optimal algorithm are described.
