The effect of the initial approximation on the convergence speed of processes of the adaptive adjustment of cluttersuppression systems
Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the effect of the type of initial approximation on the initialstate efficiency and speed of adaptive stochastic algorithms for the adjustment of cluttersuppression systems. It is shown that the specification of an initial vector coinciding with a reference (synphase) vector makes it possible to achieve clutter suppression with maximum speed (for the given gradient method) and minimum necessary deviations from the synphase solution. When the initial vector differs significantly from the synphase one, the speed of establishment of a solution close to an optimal one according to the norm is drastically different from the speed of clutter suppression. Results of mathematical modeling are presented which confirm the validity of these conclusions.
