Calculation of electromagnetic fields in displacement transducers
Abstract
The paper examines a two-dimensional mathematical model for a displacement transducer which employs a magnetic circuit. The grid method is used to perform the computer analysis of the magnetic field and the total magnetic flux. It is shown that an allowance for diffusion fluxes made it possible to improve the accuracy with which transducer output characteristics are calculated by 20 percent. These diffusion fluxes amount to 65 percent of the total flux in the magnetic system of the sensor.
