Deutron magnetic resonance in (CD) x
Abstract
Temperature independent (5-300 K) quadrupole coupling constants have been determined for trans-(CD) x (157 ± 4 kHz) and iodine doped (9 at%) trans-(CD) x (145 ± 4 kHz); chain or atomic motions are thus slow on this scale. Spin-lattice relaxation times for both decrease an order of magnitude as temperature is raised, in a manner similar to that of protons in (CH) x.
