Application of Volterra Series to Nonlinear Oscillation.

Volterra series has been introduced for more than forty years but its application is still limited to certain specialized areas such as distortion analysis. This thesis shows, for the first time, that Volterra series can be used as an analytical tool for studying nonlinear phenomena such as oscillation and bifurcation. Comparing with conventional techniques, Volterra series approach to these problems is both conceptually clearer and computationally simpler.
