Three-dimensional development of a perturbation in a boundary layer of a compressible gas
Abstract
The study is concerned with the problem of the development of a fixed-frequency downstream perturbation in a plane-parallel boundary layer of a compressible gas. For equations derived from a system of linearized Navier-Stokes equations after applying the Fourier transform with respect to time, a mixed problem is formulated. The problem is then solved using the Laplace transform.
