Coronal structure at the July 1981 eclipse
Abstract
Observations of the total solar eclipse of July 31, 1981, in Kazakhstan, furnish a drawing of the principal coronal features out to 4 solar radii. The association of these structures with prominences and active regions is studied. On the west, the corona displayed a classical maximum shape; on the east, it resembled a typical solar-minimum corona.
